The photograph is a close view of Figueroles town hall. Its balcony, flags, lettering, ceramic crest and parts of the windows can be seen; neither the complete old centre nor Sant Mateu Church appears.

The old area brings together the church and Casa dels Colegials

The provincial record places the church and Casa dels Colegials on the historic walk, both associated with the old centre. The photographed town hall is an urban reference, but the tight frame cannot establish those other buildings or reconstruct the complete shape of the square.

Sant Mateu preserves architecture and art from several periods

The Renaissance church was built between 1640 and 1651 with a single nave and broad façade. It retains 17th- and 18th-century wooden altarpieces. Its square bell tower, dated to 1793, has a blue-tiled roof; a sundial records the local nickname “Escalda-sants”.

The water route moves beyond the built heritage

The council itinerary follows the River Llucena through the municipality and connects landscape, water uses and heritage. It is separate from the walk through the centre: the official route and river conditions should be checked before setting out, particularly after rain or during hot weather.

This documentary edit corrects the photograph and separates town hall, church and route. It does not verify offices, flags, worship, altarpieces, sundial, path, flow, crossings, works, signs, restrictions, hours or accessibility on site.
