The photograph shows Camí del Trenc crossing reedbeds in Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca Natural Park. It is neither Torrenostra beach nor the historic centre. Torreblanca has an inland town and a coastal settlement, while the protected wetland occupies the shoreline across two municipalities.
The Prat is a wetland, not an urban park
The marsh is separated from the sea by a coastal barrier and preserves habitats for birds and specialist plants. The park guide distinguishes routes from Torre de la Sal, an itinerary from Torrenostra and an accessible route; conditions are not identical on every track. Visitors need to respect paths, vegetation, wildlife and temporary limits, especially during heat, flooding or management work.
Torrenostra combines a tower, beach and park boundary
The coastal settlement grew around Torre Nostra, a seventeenth-century defensive tower now integrated among its streets. The tourism listing places the urban Torrenostra beach at the park’s northern limit; the more natural Prat beach is a different stretch. Services, lifeguards, accessibility, boardwalks and sea conditions vary by season and need a same-day check.
Torreblanca centre lies inland
In the inland town, Saint Bartholomew’s Church was built between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries and is predominantly Baroque. Calvary leads to the first church, now Saint Francis chapel, associated with the former fortified enclosure. The municipal cycle route links Torreblanca, Torrenostra and the park, but does not make them a single short walk.
This edit identifies the photograph and distinguishes wetland, coast and town. It does not verify water level, mosquitoes, surfaces, bird sightings, building opening, beach services or the accessibility of each route on site.
