La Llosa has a town centre separated from its coastal strip. The photograph shows the town hall on Plaça d’Espanya among palms and planters, not the beach. Combining heritage, wetland and coast requires travel between distinct settings.
The town walk begins away from the sea
The centre retains narrow streets and traditional façades. El Salvador parish church is a seventeenth-century building with Gothic and Baroque elements. Town hall and church belong to the inland settlement and should not be used as visual evidence of beach services or wetland access.
The beach lies 3.5 kilometres away
La Llosa beach combines sand and pebbles along roughly one kilometre without a continuous built seafront. A timber walkway crosses part of the area and the Gola channel. Its position beside the wetland makes it important to remain on appropriate access and avoid damaging vegetation.
The wetland and Els Pouets have their own dynamics
Between La Llosa and Xilxes, Els Pouets contains natural springs within the coastal wetland. Open water, vegetation and birds vary with season, rain, drainage and farming. Birdwatching does not permit entry onto working plots or disturbance of sensitive areas.
Lifeguards, walkways, parking, accessibility, water quality and bathing conditions can change and need a fresh check before travelling. This documentary edit does not certify those services or church interior opening through an on-site inspection.
