Gold and Silver passes target registered residents who are unemployed or on low household incomes; the price depends on benefits and income thresholds.

Six months of urban-bus travel in Castelló may cost €3 or €6 with Activa’t. This is not a general low fare, but a personalised pass for registered residents who are unemployed or meet household-income conditions.

Activa’t Gold costs €3 and covers applicants receiving unemployment benefit of no more than €645.30. Silver costs €6 and covers benefits above €645.30 up to €1,000, as well as qualifying low-income households.

More than two months of active job seeking

Applicants must be registered in Castelló and have spent over two consecutive months unemployed and actively seeking work immediately before applying, except under the separate household-income route.

That limit uses the minimum wage: one SMI for one person, another half for a spouse and 0.3 for each child under 16. Because the SMI changes, it should not be converted into a permanent cash figure.

Identity, residence and employment or income must be evidenced. Current prices are €3 and €6 per half-year, but transport fares may be revised. Changes to the SMI, benefit bands or issue points would require an update.
