Identity checks for a digital certificate are now available in Torrevieja on Tuesday afternoons. The municipal registry opens from 16:00 to 19:00 by appointment, with 25 weekly slots for digital certificates and another 25 for general registration.
Bookings are made through the municipal electronic office’s appointment section. The afternoon service supplements ordinary hours but is not a walk-in session.
The council appointment does not replace the initial application
Under the FNMT in-person route, applicants first configure their device, request the certificate online and receive an application code by email. The office verifies identity; downloading the certificate follows through the issuer’s channel.
Applicants attend with the code and current original identification. Accepted evidence differs for Spanish, EU and other foreign nationals, particularly when a NIE must be linked to a passport or national identity document.
Do not mix ACCV and FNMT procedures
Check the issuing authority before booking. ACCV registration points identify applicants using a NIF, NIE or passport, while FNMT creates its own application code. Starting with one issuer and following another’s paperwork may prevent completion.
Update if the council changes the 25 slots, Tuesday hours or booking route.
