Washing a window and removing the water without soaking the frame are separate jobs. A handheld window vacuum is intended for the second: drawing liquid off the surface through a nozzle and into a tank.
Kärcher’s usage guide describes applying cleaner, wiping the glass and then vacuuming. Keep that sequence in mind rather than expecting the device to remove stuck-on dirt by itself.
Look at your windows before battery claims
A wide nozzle may suit large panes. For narrow or divided windows, check whether a smaller nozzle is included or sold separately. Consider the overall weight and how the handle will feel when reaching the areas you need to clean.
The tank deserves attention too: check how it is removed or emptied and what cleaning it needs afterwards. An advertised runtime does not automatically tell you how long your whole home’s windows will take.
A tool for one part of the routine
Some manufacturers also list uses such as glass shower screens; confirm the permitted uses for the exact model. Do not confuse a handheld window vacuum with a robot that moves across glass: they are different devices.
Before buying, count your panes and consider where you currently keep your squeegee and cloth. If collecting water is the particular task you want help with, focus your comparison on that function.
