The photograph shows the Sardinian States Room inside the Palau Ducal dels Borja, with portraits, sculptures and a gilded doorway leading into another decorated room. This is one specific interior view, not the palace façade or a general image of the historic centre.

The palace contains work from several centuries

The Ducal Palace preserves fabric from the fourteenth- and fifteenth-century Gothic building, sixteenth-century Renaissance additions, Baroque extensions from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and later Gothic Revival reconstruction. Rooms such as the Golden Gallery and Hall of Crowns belong to this sequence. Access follows the palace’s own visit options and programme.

The Collegiate Church has a different architecture

Santa María, also called La Seu de Gandia, is a Gothic church with a single nave. Its exterior includes the Santa María and Apostles doorways and large gargoyles; the interior is more restrained and its artistic holdings have changed over time. Palace and church are close but remain independent institutions and visits.

The beach is not an immediate extension of the centre

The seafront forms another part of Gandia. Playa Nord concentrates the promenade and visitor services, while l’Ahuir retains an environmentally valuable dune belt. Combining heritage and coast requires travel between city and beach, with mobility, season, services and environmental restrictions checked separately.

This documentary review identifies the room and distinguishes palace, church and seafront. It does not verify opening, booking, worship, displayed objects, restoration, transport, boardwalks, bathing, lifeguards, accessibility or seasonal services on site.
