Patients awaiting planned surgery in the Valencian public health system can check when they joined the list and see an estimated delay online. The patient portal accepts identification by SMS using current SIP health-card details, as well as Cl@ve or a digital certificate.
What the result means
The record names the hospital and department, gives the inclusion date and counts the days elapsed. Its estimate is based on the time within which 80% of earlier patients in the same hospital and specialty were treated. It is guidance rather than an appointment or guaranteed deadline.
The SIP number, date of birth and current card details must match. Details from a replaced card may cause access to fail. The hospital will contact the patient separately once the operation is scheduled.
When to contact the hospital
Waiting time begins when a specialist prescribes a planned procedure and the patient accepts it. A patient-requested postponement, clinical review or transfer can change the displayed position. The system uses three clinical priorities: up to 30 days for priority one, a recommended limit below 90 days for priority two, and a longer permissible delay for priority three.
If the operation is missing, the details are wrong or the status has changed without explanation, contact the hospital’s Patient Information and Support Service, known as SAIP. It can review the record but cannot independently set the surgery date.
