La Jana: Sant Bartomeu, Pedralta and the Pou del Mas olive trees

The Baroque church and tower form one composition

The heritage record dates the church to 1617 and identifies it as a protected Site of Cultural Interest. It has one nave with side chapels, exterior buttresses and a square tower joined to the façade. Metalwork, Plateresque chalices and paintings survive inside but cannot be inferred from this exterior view.

Pedralta connects the square with the Roman road

The council map identifies Pedralta as a 4th-century milestone formerly beside the Via Augusta and moved to the square for preservation. It is an archaeological object separate from the church and provides a specific reference for understanding the Roman route through the municipality.

Pou del Mas holds 21 olive trees in under one hectare

The natural museum lies outside the centre beside the Via Augusta. The local guide counts 21 specimens and highlights the Pou del Mas farga, almost eight metres in circumference, and Olivera de les Parelles. Access and route conditions should be confirmed.
