Lucas Alcázar, defender for CD Castellón, is preparing to face Leganés in the seventh round of LaLiga Hypermotion, a match that acquires a special nuance for him as it is his hometown. Although he maintains a professional attitude towards the match, he recognizes that returning to Leganés always means an emotional moment, full of personal significance. For the player, this return home brings with it an added bonus that, although it does not change his approach, is still an added stimulus in his commitment to the team.

The defender highlighted the start of the season for CD Castellón, which has been solid both at home and away. He considers that the good collective performance has generated excitement not only among the players, but also among the fans, whose support has been constant. This positive start, according to Alcázar, is key to maintaining motivation and pace during an demanding season, in which every match counts.

Versatile by nature, Alcázar shares the left-back position with the role of winger in the four-man line. He ensures that he feels comfortable in both positions, since his main goal is to adapt to the needs of the team and contribute where the coach considers it most useful. This flexibility, in his opinion, is a fundamental tool to maintain the cohesion of the group and respond to the demands of modern football.

Despite the strong competition in the squad, the player emphasizes the importance of teamwork. For him, the team is like a ship in which everyone must row in the same direction, especially in a long season where consistency and unity are essential. His commitment is clear: to be available to help with whatever is necessary, regardless of the role assigned to him.

As for Leganés, Alcázar recognizes their quality and their playing style, based on ball possession and effectiveness in the category. However, he insists that CD Castellón will not lower their guard. The team has a clear plan: to impose their rhythm, be protagonists both with and without the ball, and fight to get the three points in a match that is tied.

Finally, Alcázar expressed his gratitude to the fans, who have shown their presence and support in the last matches, even in away games like the one against Girona. For him, the public is a source of constant energy, a kind of fuel that drives the team. He encouraged the supporters to continue like this, promising that the team will continue to work hard alongside them, with the same spirit and determination.
