The match between Valencia and Real Sociedad took place in Mestalla with an intense rhythm from the first minute, characterized by a constant back and forth between both areas. Both teams showed willingness to attack, generating goal-scoring opportunities and maintaining the level of intensity until the end. The match became a duel of emotions, where every change in the scoreline altered the mood of the stands and the dynamism of the match, marked by the intensity and offensive deployment of both contenders. The stadium vibrated with every play, especially in the decisive moments that defined the final result.

Real Sociedad opened the score at the 26th minute with a brilliant goal from Luka Sucic, the result of a well-worked collective play that broke the local resistance. That goal forced Valencia to seek an equalizer with greater urgency, although the Basque team managed to maintain control in key moments. After halftime, the Valencian team reacted intensely and managed to equalize the match thanks to Aarón Mayol, who took advantage of an attacking opportunity to score the 1-1 and reignite hope in the stands.

The balance was broken again when Carlos Soler converted a penalty in the 75th minute, putting Real Sociedad ahead for the second time. Valencia did not lose heart and continued to press, which culminated in a spectacular own goal from Beitia in the 84th minute, which brought the score back to level. The euphoria in Mestalla was immediate, but the match still had more history to write. Both teams launched into attack in the last minutes, with the field full of actions and opportunities.

In the 91st minute, Barrene took advantage of a new arrival from the Basque team to score the 2-3, silencing the local crowd and putting Valencia in a bind. The Valencian team tried to equalize at all costs, and in the last play of the match, Aimar Blázquez had the opportunity to equalize. However, goalkeeper Alex Remiro made a brilliant save, stopping the shot and thus sealing the victory for Real Sociedad. His intervention became the decisive moment of the match, which ended with a feeling of intensity and emotion that left Mestalla with the impression of having experienced one of the most thrilling duels of the season.
