The Castellón airport has launched a special charter flight operation for the fourth consecutive year. Its objective is to facilitate the transportation of representatives from the ceramic sector to the Cersaie fair in Bologna. This initiative reinforces the airport’s commitment to local economic development. The mobility of companies in the territory is key to their international growth. Raquel París, the general director of Aerocas, has highlighted this effort as part of a broader strategy. The goal is to improve the connectivity and global presence of Castellon companies. The Cersaie fair is the most relevant event in the sector worldwide. Its participation is essential for promoting products and services from the territory.

The operation includes eleven charter flights distributed between September 20 and 25. Five of them are one-way, scheduled for Sunday, September 20. The six return flights will take place between September 24 and 25. This service will involve the movement of approximately two thousand passengers. The airport has prepared additional resources to manage traffic peaks. These will be added to the already planned regular flights. The objective is to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all travelers. The infrastructure is designed to adapt to occasional demands with a significant economic impact.

In addition to charter flights, a regular route between Castellón and Bologna is offered. Operated by Ryanair, this line operates until September 28. It has two weekly frequencies, which allows greater flexibility. Participants can choose from different transportation options. This alternative complements the charter operation. It allows more companies to access the fair without exclusively relying on special flights. The combination of both services improves access to a key event in the ceramic sector.

The general director of Aerocas has expressed her satisfaction with the continuity of this initiative. She considers that it reflects the active role of the airport in boosting the economic development of the province. The scheduling of these flights confirms that the infrastructure is at the service of local companies. Her mission includes promoting mobility, connectivity and internationalization. This year, as in previous years, the commitment to the ceramic sector is maintained. The Cersaie fair remains a fundamental stage for the promotion of the Castellon industry in the global market.
