Students on waiting lists for Bachillerato, Spain’s upper-secondary academic programme, can enrol for remaining places at publicly funded schools in the Valencian Community from Friday 4 to Monday 7 September 2026. This window covers vacancies left after the additional admissions round. Enrolment is in person, with places allocated in waiting-list score order.
Students already admitted had their enrolment window from 1 to 3 September. The Generalitat guidance shared by l’Alfàs del Pi council sets aside the next period for places freed up by withdrawals or other justified circumstances. Being on the waiting list does not guarantee admission: a place must be available and the applicant must be next in line under the ranking.
Families’ immediate point of contact is the school office. They need to establish whether it is their turn to enrol and when the office will be open. Although the dates span a Saturday and Sunday, the admissions calendar gives no opening hours for individual schools and does not announce weekend opening.
Applications were submitted in July
The calendar from IES Carles Salvador in Aldaia distinguishes applying for a place from completing enrolment. Applications in the additional Bachillerato admissions round ran from 23 to 27 July, with final results scheduled for 31 July. Today’s window is for the waiting list from that process; it is not a fresh call for applications.
The calendar published by Alcoi council also gives 4–7 September as the period for enrolling in person to fill available places. These dates concern Bachillerato. The equivalent waiting-list windows for early years, primary and compulsory secondary education took place in July.
The calendars do not state how many places remain today at each school or in each Bachillerato pathway. Students still waiting need that individual confirmation before Monday’s deadline.
