The distance is short, but the ascent and mountain surface still require suitable footwear, water and avoidance of the hottest hours. The via ferrata on the sierra is a separate technical activity requiring specific equipment, skills and a check of current conditions. It should never be added casually to the SL-CV 175 walk.
