High above the neighbourhood stands the Great Scratching Post, home to a colony of cats for nine lives. One night, barking drifts up from the port: a pack of dogs advances street by street, led by a huge crowned and caped mastiff, the Baron. He wants the Scratching Post and the legendary Golden Sardine said to be hidden inside it. Your mission: not a single dog gets through.
How to play
Defensa del Rascador («Scratching Post Defence») is a free tower defence game for Android. Dogs march along a path and you place cats beside it to stop them before they reach home. Defeating dogs earns gold, which you spend on more cats or upgrades. You learn it in a minute: tap, place and upgrade.
Save the «Meow!» button for the right moment: a meow so powerful it slows the whole pack for a few seconds.
The four cats: quick guide
Each cat has three upgrade levels and its own style. Placement costs:
- Michi (48 gold), the rookie: cheap, reliable and with a gold bonus, as he always carries extra fish. Ideal to start every match.
- Ninja (78 gold), silent and lightning fast: attacks in bursts, and every fourth attack lands an extra hit. Perfect for filling gaps.
- Tigre (102 gold), the veteran: huge range and critical hits against the toughest dogs.
- Boxer (112 gold), the market guardian: area damage that slows the fastest dogs.
The dogs: fast, armoured and alphas
Not every dog is the same. Fast dogs slip through if you do not slow them, armoured ones soak up hits and alphas lead the waves. Choosing the right cat for each stretch of the path is the key to the game.
A story in ten chapters
This is more than placing towers. Across ten chapters, from the Scratching Post Courtyard to the Dawn Citadel, by way of rooftops, a night market, a library, a museum and Yarn Station, Granny Miga tells you the colony’s story. Bit by bit you discover who the Baron really is and what the Golden Sardine means. The ending? We will not spoil it. Just a hint: not every villain is what they seem.

At the end of each chapter the Great Mastiff awaits: a giant boss who howls, calls his pups and costs five lives if he reaches home. Plus:

Tips to get started
- Start on Easy. You begin with 230 gold and 22 lives, against 190 and 16 on Normal or 155 and 12 on Hard.
- Place a Michi early. He is the cheapest cat and his gold bonus pays off for the rest of the match.
- Cover bends and long crossings. A cat beside a bend attacks each passing dog for longer.
- Boxer against fast dogs, Tigre against armoured ones. Combine them where the toughest waves arrive.
- Save the «Meow!» for alphas and the Great Mastiff.
