Reports available in the Valencian public health system can be viewed through the Electronic Health Record, known as HSE. Access requires a SIP health card, residence registration in the Valencian Community and identification with Cl@ve or a digital certificate. The GVA +Salut app is another mobile route.
What the portal contains
HSE brings together documents produced by connected Valencian health applications and, where available, reports from other Spanish regional services. Users can view, download and print them. It is not necessarily a full copy: scans, X-rays or older reports may not have been uploaded.
Requesting missing material
Copies of reports, test results and medical images are requested from the Patient Information and Support Service —SAIP— at the centre holding them. Patients prove their identity; representatives require authorisation, while records of a deceased person require evidence of the relevant family or legal relationship.
Patient autonomy law grants access subject to limits protecting third-party data and professionals’ private annotations. Delivery may be in person, electronically or by post under the centre’s procedure.
Privacy and access records
The portal can hide selected reports from professionals in other health services and display certain cross-regional accesses. Hiding information may affect treatment outside the region, particularly abroad. If HSE is unavailable, Sanidad directs patients to GVA +Salut or SAIP.
