Castelló ZBE residents can issue 20 monthly permits to visiting vehicles

Registered residents with a vehicle in their name enter without authorisation; rentals, second homes and third-party cars require registration.

A resident registered on Castelló’s central ZBE profile can invite up to 20 vehicles each month, each for one day. An invitation is not permanent authorisation for the visiting car.

People registered inside the zone whose vehicle is linked to their ID at the DGT may drive and park without an individual request. Third-party, rental, leased or company-benefit cars must be justified on the platform.

A second home still requires an application

People living inside the ZBE without population registration must seek authorisation online or in person, proving residence and supplying the registration number and DGT-data consent or vehicle document.

Reduced-mobility users, garages, shops, workshops and health professionals have separate profiles and should not use the resident route.

The ZBE is not permanently closed

Phase one launches the register and restricts specific unlabelled fleets. Broader future limits depend on air-quality assessment and must be announced. Cameras do not mean every unlabelled car is continuously penalised.

Update at phase two or if guest limits and profiles change.
