Since 1 October, Alicante has offered two passes for unlimited travel over 30 days on the TAM network. Móbilis Mensual costs €35 and is open to the general public; Móbilis Mensual Jove costs €29.75 for 16-to-30-year-olds holding a Carnet Jove or European equivalent. A personalised card costs an additional €4.40 when a new one is needed.
The 30 days begin with the first validation after top-up, not on the purchase date. Neither pass requires registration as a resident of Alicante, which matters to commuters and students across the metropolitan area.
When a monthly pass beats pay-per-journey credit
A discounted ten-journey pass currently costs €5.40. The standard monthly pass therefore costs about the same as seven ten-trip top-ups, although transfers and actual travel patterns affect the comparison. Young passengers should also compare it with the 30-trip Móbilis Jove, currently €10.60 with a maximum of three top-ups a month.
Both monthly products can be requested by email or at the TAM office. They are personal and must still be validated on every trip.
Fare dates matter
The late-2026 fares have defined sale, use and exchange windows. Travellers should check the operator’s current table before topping up because a temporary subsidy may change the price while the product name stays the same.
The next update point is any change to the fare order or subsidies after 31 December 2026.
