València Informada is an independent editorial project. The València Informada editorial team selects, reviews and contextualises public-service information about Valencia and the Valencian Community. We are not a public administration and do not speak on behalf of official bodies.
Editorial team
Content is published under the collective responsibility of the València Informada editorial team. The team maintains guides, open-data pages, directories, bulletins and citizen explainers; decides which drafts are ready to publish; and handles reports from readers.
When information concerns public procedures, healthcare, grants, emergencies, amounts, dates or journeys, the linked competent source always takes precedence over our summary.
Our responsibilities
- Select subjects with clear public value and a demonstrable connection to Valencia or the Valencian Community.
- Check the title, date, category, responsible body, places, amounts and links before publication.
- Distinguish facts taken from official sources from editorial interpretation.
- Keep languages separate and stop translations that do not pass linguistic review.
- Correct errors and also modify the automation rule that caused them.
How a page is prepared
- Selection: we identify an information need or a relevant public update.
- Source: we locate the original authority, dataset or document.
- Context: we explain what it means, who may be affected and what should be verified.
- Pre-publication check: language, meaning, links, image and HTML are reviewed. Uncertain material stays in draft.
- Update: reader reports and official changes are checked before a correction is made.
Automation and human review
We use automation to find sources, organise data and prepare drafts. Automation has no editorial authority: an incomplete translation, an incoherent category or an unsupported recommendation must not be published. Automated controls help block errors; the final decision belongs to the editorial team.
Independence and funding
València Informada is independent of public administrations, political parties and official bodies. The site may be funded through advertising or clearly identified affiliate links. That income does not alter the interpretation of an official source and does not allow commercial recommendations to be mixed with healthcare, administrative or emergency information.
Corrections and contact
To report an error, email 1938web@gmail.com or use the contact page. Include the URL, the affected detail and, where possible, the source that allows it to be checked. You can also read our editorial policy, sources policy and corrections policy.
