Circuit Ricardo Tormo opened in 1999 and has a 4,005-metre main track, an 876-metre straight and fourteen turns. La Morería has a different urban scale

The town centre contains two- and three-storey manor houses, large doorways once used by carts and wrought-iron balconies. The town hall, ceramic devotional panels, squares and narrow streets of La Morería reveal historic Cheste without confusing it with the sports venue outside this urban walk.

San Lucas rises above the low houses

San Lucas Evangelista Parish Church is an eighteenth-century building in late Baroque style with Neoclassical features. Its three-tiered hexagonal bell tower provides an easily recognised landmark. The chapels and sculptures are inside, where access depends on current worship and opening.
